Baz nằm trên một ngọn đồi cao ở phía bắc Albania, ngăn cách giữa Burrel ở phía đông nam và Ulza ở phía tây bắc bởi [[dãy núi Skanderberg]] và [[hồ chứa Ulza]]. == Lịch sử ==
Ngôi làng có tên [[Bazëda]] vào năm 1467, khi [[Biên niên sử Ottoman]] ghi nhận nơi này là khu định cư gồm 6 hộ gia đình người Albania bản địa.<ref>Caka, Eduart (2019). == Dân cư ==
Theo điều tra dân số năm 2011, tổng số dân ở xã Baz là 2.228 người.
