Caprodon
Caprodon là một chi cá biển thuộc họ Anthiadidae. Chi này được lập ra bởi Temminck và Schlegel vào năm 1843.

Từ nguyên
Từ caprodon được ghép bởi hai âm tiết trong tiếng Hy Lạp cổ đại: kắpros (κάπρος; "lợn rừng") và odóntos (ὀδόντος, sở hữu cách của ὀδούς, "răng"), hàm ý không rõ, có lẽ đề cập đến răng trước của hàm dưới ở C. schlegelii rất lớn và hướng ra sau giống như nanh lợn rừng.[2]

- Caprodon krasyukovae Kharin, 1983
- Caprodon longimanus (Günther, 1859)
- Caprodon schlegelii (Günther, 1859)
- Caprodon unicolor Katayama, 1975
C. affinis Tanaka, 1924 được Anderson (2018) công nhận là hợp lệ,[4] nhưng Parenti và Randall (2021) chỉ xem đó là đồng nghĩa của C. schlegelii.[3]
