Pelontrus bennetti
Pelontrus bennetti là một loài cá biển thuộc chi Pelontrus trong họ Anthiadidae. Loài này được mô tả lần đầu tiên vào năm 2015.[1]

Phân loại
Theo nghiên cứu của Tang và Chen (2025), chi Plectranthias trước đây bao gồm 7 nhánh riêng biệt. Dựa trên kết quả phân tích bộ gen, Plectranthias bennetti được chuyển sang chi Pelontrus.[2]
Từ nguyên
Từ định danh bennetti được đặt theo tên của Timothy Bennett, thợ lặn và nhà sưu tập cá cảnh biển người Úc, người đã thu thập mẫu định danh của loài này.[3]
Phân bố và môi trường sống
P. bennetti hiện chỉ được biết đến tại rạn Holmes trong biển San Hô (ngoài khơi Úc), được tìm thấy ở độ sâu trong khoảng 40–125 m.[4]
Mô tả
Chiều dài cơ thể lớn nhất của P. bennetti là 5,5 cm.[5]
