Cubiceps là một loài cá biển trong họ cá Nomeidae.[3] Chúng thuộc nhóm cá biển khơi.
Từ nguyên
Cubiceps có nguồn gốc từ tiếng Latinh cubus nghĩa là hình lập phương và hậu tố -ceps nghĩa là đầu.[3]
